Create transparent favicons with transparent png or gif file.

After you generate your icon, Mouse-Over your icon picture, Right-Click mouse and save as "favicon.ico."
Upload file to the public_html folder or root of your webserver.

Edit your index.html or Homepage and insert this link statement ' link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" ' in the 'head' section of this document
